I am always stun by the performance of the actress that plays Taka. She made an amazing job every little micro expressions are incredibely accurate and smooth. As it is said in the film everyone is polite everyone smiles but beneath there is a deep reservoire of feeling. Here you can feel/read on her face what she is thinking about without her saying any words while playing a character who must not express her emotions and feelings.

A beautiful film…. Every time I watch this I have tears in my eyes at the end…. Such dedication to life that the Japanese have is Commendable
